Jacquie Heany (CEO)
Born in Oldham when it was part
of Lancashire, Jacquie trained initially as a teacher before becoming a manager
in the former Department of Employment.
At the DoE Jacquie was
responsible for user implementation of a major computer system. In this role she
was responsible for managing aspects of change management ranging from from
'sockets in the wall' to user communications, stakeholder management, liaison
with the project team as a subject matter expert, user training and post action
review.
Having gained a 'taster' for
project management and technology implementation, Jacquie then moved to a major
computer manufacturer and solutions provider as a senior training consultant,
working with local authorities, government departments, police forces,
etc. She was instrumental at this time in the design and presentation of
Leadership and Individual Development Courses, introducing many of these into
the public courses programme.
From here, Jacquie moved to a
Business Solutions company as a Senior Consultant in the Change Management
practice. She was responsible in this role for designing and managing the People
Change aspects of a major international Car Rental system and of a major
business transformation project with a significant government department.
Jacquie has also led
transformation teams in the areas of Financial Services, Supply Chain
Distribution, Manufacturing and the travel industry, all with FTSE 100
companies.
Her latest assignment has been
with a large international phone directory publisher where she has facilitated
the implementation of a major ERP system in the customer service and sales
areas.
Jacquie has a BEd. from Sheffield
University, loves skiing and taking long walks by the sea.
Dan Heany (Chair and Company
Secretary)
Dan started his career as a
Police Officer with the London Metropolitan Police Service. During his
time in the service, he taught Police Cadets and was responsible for their
welfare during training.
He became interested in computing
in 1979 and became an instructor at the MP Telecommunications School, later
becoming the training advisor for Force Management Information and Crime
Reporting Systems.
Leaving the service in 1989 Dan
joined an IT solutions provider as a training consultant, later becoming the
Marketing Manager and ultimately the Head of Education and Training with a team
of 25 consultants.
He then moved to a Financial and
Process Manufacturing Software House as European Training Manager before
becoming the Customer Services Manager for Europe.
Following on from this, Dan
joined a Business Solutions company as a Senior Change Management Consultant,
managing assignments in the Financial Services, Public, Manufacturing, Supply
Chain Distribution, and Business to Business sectors. He also managed a team of
18 Business Analysts and Consultants.
Dan's latest assignment has been
to act as interim HR Director for a start-up financial services company. In this
role he dealt with all aspects of people change from organisational values
definition to facilitation of the new senior management team.
Dan holds a Certificate in
Management and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and
Development. He is also an Associate Member of the British Computer Society and
has passed both parts of the Society's examinations.
Dan also loves skiing and taking
long walks by the sea with Jacquie.
