(Go straight to 'Our Expertise') Fact. Most organisational change programmes fail to achieve their planned objectives. Research has indicated a number of factors that cause failures but among the most frequent and significant is the inability of organisations to gain management and staff commitment and to adequately skill their people to cope with the new world that exists after the change. Often organisational change programmes are uncoordinated, fragmented in their focus and poorly monitored and managed. People aspects of change are tagged on as an afterthought to a technology, business or process redesign project. ("We will just do some training, hold some meetings and send out a newsletter, that will do the trick." Sound familiar?) Our approach is to work with leaders and teams to define and communicate the required future state, analyse the current state and create a ‘bridge’ of activities to enable the transition from one to the other. In addition to Change, Leadership and Team Facilitation, our expertise covers: Organisational Structure and Process Design, Communications Strategy, Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, HR Strategy, Performance Management Systems (including appraisal systems and goal setting), Training and Development, Organisational Visioning and Balanced Business Scorecard development and implementation. Working in collaboration with managers and teams we will recommend the most appropriate change activities and help the organisation to build these into a plan with a clear timeline and measurable outcomes. (And yes, we can provide credible milestones and measures for all the 'fluffy stuff' as well.) Our Consultants all have experience in managing significant organisational change projects and will ensure the effectiveness and integration of all the change activities into any overall plan. Why do we call what we do Change Facilitation? Because we don't do change to organisations, we facilitate and guide their own people so they can do the right things themselves to make the change happen.
