Advanced Facilitation Tools

Group Facilitation Skills course  (Length: 3 Days)

This course is aimed at Managers, Project Managers, Trainers, Internal and External Consultants, Team Leaders / Supervisors and anyone who needs to help groups achieve solutions to problems or make decisions.

On completion of the course, the participants will be able to:

Describe what 'facilitation' is and what it is not : Describe the role of the facilitator : Describe and manage the elements of the facilitation process: An approach to problem solving and decision making): Understand and use basic facilitation tools & methods and Managing contention.

Advanced Facilitation Tools course (Length: 2 Days)

This course is aimed at skilled facilitators who wish to extend the range of tools and techniques available to them in order to manage more complex or difficult facilitation events

On completion of the course, the participants will be able to:

Select appropriate facilitation tools to achieve specific outcomes during facilitation events: Use each tool as appropriate in group and in one-to-one situations: Describe and use 11 descriptive and diagnostic tools, 8 tools for changing perceptions and perspectives, 7 analytical and solution generation tools and 5 creativity tools
